Welcome to the Belvedere
The Belvedere Centre and COVID-19 | Updated 17.03.2020
Despite the current situation regarding the Coronavirus, we are pleased to announce that all business is as normal until further notice. This includes our Wednesday Lunch Club.
As a duty of care to others, we politely ask that you wash your hands on arrival and use the anti-bacterial wipes and hand gel as often as necessary to minimise any risk. If you do feel unwell, please stay at home and follow the Government guidelines.
This site will be kept updated, but in the meantime please stay safe and carry on with a smile!
The Belvedere Community Association is a charity run by unpaid Volunteers that receives no external funding. We occupy a building which is normally referred to as the Belvedere Centre. The building is owned by the council who maintain the internal fixed fittings and also the outside fabric. The internal décor, maintaining of furniture, provisioning of the Bar, and Wednesday lunches, booking of rooms, organising Special Events and the paying of bills are carried out by the Centre’s voluntary committee, which manages the Centres income. We raise this income to pay for our running costs by hiring the two rooms and running a bar, which make up the Centre.
